ARC 2011

ARC 2011 was another successful event. This year the ARC groups of the Tri-Cities combined and all came at the same time. Bill Greger did a great job of organizing as usual and Bruce Heating and Cooling provided sponsor funding again.

Irrigation Pump Maintenance

The first step of the irrigation pump maintenance requested by HRMC is to remove the heavy thing and take it to a shop for bearings and wear ring replacement. Replacing the wear ring and re-establishing factory tolerances will bring up our delivery pressure somewhat because it had been dropping a little over the years.

Polar Bear 2011

Polar Bear 2011 was cold and no wind. There were about 10 brave ones who came to renew memberships, fly airplanes, eat clam chowder, chili, corn bread muffins, pie, chips etc. The food was good and warm for the most part which helped fend of the chills from 25F temperatures. It had been 12F New Years Eve at some locations. It's always good to come out to the flying field to fly and socialize no matter what the conditions.
