ELECTION RESULTS

Well, the campaigns are over for another year, and the voting results are in — her are the results of the Election of TCRCM Officers for the coming year:

For the office of President, Ron Gibby was re-elected by a wide margin (actually, the widest possible margin, since there were no opposing candidates!).

The office of Vice President was taken over in a not-so-hotly-contested race between incumbent Lyle Laughery and Paul Beebe. Lyle managed to tip the scales in Paul’s favor by running with a rather unique platform: he offered to take over the coordination of the construction of our storage building if he lost the election. Consequently, he lost the election, and Paul Beebe is our new V-P.

Jerry Wallis had previously announced his intentions not to run for re-election to the office of Secretary, so Rick Magnuson was nominated, and will take over Jerry’s Secretarial duties for ‘99.

Clee Childress, running unopposed and having demonstrated both the desire and the ability to handle the Club’s financial matters, was re-elected Treasurer by a landslide.

The new Officers’ names and phone numbers will appear on Page 1 of The Leading Edge throughout the coming year.
