May 2000 Fun Fly- Part 2
| The second event required 5 touch and goes, with points awarded for precision. If you touched down between 2 lines about 5 feet apart, you got 25 points. A nice try zone of about 10 feet on each side was good for 10 points. Nothing else counted. Luckily, the wind was down to about 5 kts, gusting occasionally to keep it interesting. Those Yakima guys know how to put it right on the money! |

Steve Sterling's Tiger 60 just makes the 25 point area. Too bad he couldn't find the sweet spot on any other landings. |

Greg McFadden, Gary Jones, Roy Lytle and Chief McMahan eyeball the landings. |

The only 10 pointer he made. The rest were centered dead on. |

Roy Lytle has his Telemaster (??) in perfect landing attitude a few inches off the runway. |

Charlie Main and Larry Mitchell watch as someone brings an airplane around on final approach. |
