The Tri-Cities R/C Modelers website has a very nice photo sharing capability. Shared and site photos are grouped into albums, and your photos are easily uploaded into the albums from your computer. There is no need to email your photos to anyone-- any authenticated user may share photos.

As a note-- any photos shared must be public domain, not copyrighted, as they are shared with the public and can be downloaded. Also, please only share content appropriate to amateur radio-- any unsolicited advertising or off-topic content will be removed.

• Any photos to be uploaded must be in an accessable directory on your computer. You cannot upload photos directly from an email or another website without first copying it into a directory on your computer. You will need to be able to navigate to this directory.
• You must be a registered, authenticated, login user to create an album or upload photos.
• The 1st step is to create an album to upload and store the photos you wish to share on the website. The easiest way to create a new album is to look in the left menu area for [Album List]. At the top of this page is a link to create a new album. A new page "Create Album" will appear. Provide a title for your album. We ask that you start your title with the YEAR (for sorting), a dash, then a short descriptive title. There are several other settings that can be adjusted, but for most situations, the default settings are perfect. Scroll down way down and you will find an optional Album Description section for further information if you desire. Finally, clear at the bottom, is the SAVE button that you MUST click to save your album.
• The 2nd step is to upload pictures to your album. Note that you can upload pictures at any time in the future to any albums you create. On the main horizontal menu near the top of the home page, click [Photos]. Your newly created album will likely be at or near the top. Click the title of your album. The album will appear, with a menu of actions. Click [Images Management]. In the Images Upload box, click the single button titled [UPLOAD]. A directory navigation box will appear. Use this to navigate to the directory that you have stored photos to share. Select one or more photos you wish to upload from the directory using the multiple-select method of your computer operating system. When all photos have been selected, click on the "open" or "OK" button and your selection will be transferred to a list on the page to be uploaded. Simply click the button "Click Here To Start Upload" and all the photos selected are uploaded to the website.
• Depending on your network speed, size of the pictures and the load on the webserver, your pictures will be uploaded. You will see each one transfer as it works them one by one. When the upload is complete, click [View] on the menu and you should see your photos, with clickable thumbnails to see larger versions. All resizing is done automatically by the website.
