Field Report
Wasps are a persistant problem at the field. The latest fact is the wasps are using wood from shelter to build nests. Solution is to stain the wood as wasps prefer raw wood. Staining of shelter is scheduled for Sept.26, 2009 at 9am.

Commercial herbicide for clover was applied by Spring Green for second time this year.

Concrete project is planned for October 3, 2009 to remove sod, level and set forms. For leveling, laser levels were discussed. People are needed to shovel and haul sod. Doug Larson will bring sod cutter, wood and stakes. Techniques and requirements for the pour was discussed. Examples of needs are height above ground for mowing and the runoff angle. For the pour a contractor will be schedlued. Note that club has received $1500. from COR for the job.

Pilot proctection screens is still a topic to consisder. Agreed that original field engineering still meet AMA specifications.

New Business
Nominations for new officers are welcome.
President duties were reviewed.
Other positions to consider are the ARC Director and Fun Fly Organizer.

Annoucement - Indian Summer Fall Jamboree will be held as a three day event on Oct. 2-3 at Higgins Field.

Club newsletter is missed by members. Steve Sterling is working on website for ease of input for members.
