The east end of the field is dry and bumpy and shakes up the mower when it goes over it. Today we scheduled a small work party to install a couple of sprinkler heads in that end of the overfly. We tried to intercept the line feeding the existing pop up sprinkler farther to the west by digging a couple of cross trenches but could not find it. So we cut sod and trenched from the location of the existing pop up sprinkler and installed about 225 feet of 1 inch sch 40 PVC pipe and two sprinklers. We started about 8:30 am and finished about 2 pm. Thanks for the help George Wallace and Tim Larkin. Georges time was limited by his 2 year old daughter who was along to help but Tim stayed the course. We were both really beat when we got it done.
