Next Club Meeting March 21st, 7pm at Rosie's Diner. 404 Bradley Blvd, Richland just off Geo. Wash Way. We need your participation in steering the club through 2012.

The TCRCM New Year Fun Fly was held on Saturday December 31, 2011 and was met with sunshine with a cold light wind. Attendance was down some this year but Craig Christensen and Doug Larson each brought their version of hot soup which was more like stew. Gordon Anderson brought Rex Lesher (one of our regional pattern fliers) from Creswell Oregon with him and both flew some pattern demonstrations.
The Model Aircraft Association club was invited and a number of their members attended. Scott Page, the president, Jim Reynolds, Dan Deckert, Gary Jones, and a few others all attended. By the way Scott’s wife makes great cookies. Scott has proposed more partnering for events with the two clubs which I strongly support. A new emphasis for the MAA is increasing model aircraft flying and Scott demonstrated a “W” wing that they will be flying pylon (derby for demolishment) competition with. Looks like a lot of fun.
Brett Bowen did the maiden flight on his Dad’s Habu and even got it to do inverted flat spins for a few rotations before common sense took effect (common sense being his Dad). It was also good to see Mike Bostik at the event and he is recovering well from his chemotherapy.
I do not know about all of you but I need to get started on my winter projects pretty soon so they get done before flying season is here.
Want to wish you all a successful year including no crashes and lots of fun flying.

TCRCM President

Sorry I missed it this year.
Sorry I missed it this year. I had 8 hams volunteer to help me put up antenna poles after hurting someone the previous weekend trying to do it with too little help. It was the only window of opportunity to get that many people together. Next year!
