Apparently as part of this Richland City community summer event there will again be the Richland Airport Fly In June 26-27th.

This event brings out spectators interested in aviation and the main attraction is the Saturday, June 27 aircraft display, airplane rides etc at the Richland Airport. We have been invited as a club to provide a static display during the Saturday event. We discussed this at the club meeting this past week and decided that this would be a good opportunity for more public exposure and that we should do this if at all possible.

I am looking for club members who are available to help set up a display, bring an airplane for display and/or spend 4 hours at the display fielding questions and watching over the equipment etc. We discussed putting up the club banner, having some model airplane type video tapes or DVDs playing and possibly a slide show on a laptop computer that would show the club field and associated activities. Hopefully this could be indoor at the hanger where there would be some electrical power and the displays would also be more visible, I don't
have that detail yet.
