The Tri-Cities R/C Modelers will be having their Sun-N-Fun Pattern contest and the NSRCA District Championships the weekend starting Sept. 17th. This event is a significant fundrasier for the club and helps offset annual membership dues.

Help is needed from the membership in providing lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, plus a dinner on Saturday night.

If you can help with lunch, please contact Dennis Cone at (509)943-5773. Lunch will be simple and low key-- sub sandwiches, so the help needed will just be setting up tables and helping serve.

For dinner, we need some side dishes. Steve & Linda Sterling will be cooking up flank steak and salmon for the main dishes. We need someone to cook up and bring about 30 baked potatoes, and bring butter, sour cream and chives for them. We also need a couple vegatable dishes (fresh green beans are a hit) and a couple of salads. For desserts, the Sterling's just plan to pick up some pies from Costco unless someone has a special dessert they want to share. All costs will be reimbursed from the contest proceeds, so keep your receipts. We will also need a little help setting up and taking down the serving line, setting up the tables and all of that. We can expect to serve 40-50 people. If you can help with a dish and/or serving the dinner, please contact the Sterling's at 509 783-1143.

Also-- club members are welcome to fly in the contest, and of course for the dinner as well. Bring the whole family.
