Next Club Meeting Feb 15th, 7pm at Rosie's Diner. 404 Bradley Blvd, Richland just off Geo. Wash Way. We need your participation in steering the club through 2012.

Both lawn mowers are ready for mowing. Below is an update of this week's activities:
The Sears mower received two rebuilt spindles, two idler pulleys/bearings, and two re-sharpened blades. I noticed the idler bearings were quite noisy...but Doug Larson had replacement on-hand!!!
Our Cub Cadet mower received a rebuild center spindle and three sharpened blades. Since I could not start the mower with the existing battery, even after charging attempts, I purchased a $25 dollar battery from Walmart that started the mower like a champ! Who knows how long the battery will last, but the alternative was $125, so I figure even yearly replacement puts us ahead financially.
The two mouse bait pellet packages were completely empty...so there are definitely some rodents in the area. I replaced the pellets and hope the herd thins out.
By the way, Linda left the door price she won...so I grabbed it. Linda, don't lose any sleep over the loss, as I'll keep the mat and X-acto knife intact, but I was slightly tempted to break them in for you. :)
OK guys, you now have two healthy mowers and a beautiful field that's just begging to be mowed! Over to you now.
