Blade MCX Tandem

I got started with the little tandem Heli last night..

I couldn't do anything with it until I got a Spektrum radio so I picked up a DM8 module and put it in my 9Z..
All you have to do for a Futaba TX is reverse every channel and be sure to flip the TX to PPM (yeah I forgot the first time around)..

Funny thing is it will bind in PCM mode but none of the controls will work.
All it will do is twitch occasionally.

No flight report yet.. I was told I had to wait till Louis was around for the maiden flight of "his" helicopter. (He was sleepin when I got the TX setup last night)

We had loads of fun with it

We had loads of fun with it tonight..
charged and ran through the battery 3 times..

Louis had me taking off from the coffee table, arm chairs, the couch..
Fly around and try to land..

First few times were rough till I got the feel of it..
It's a very durable little bird..

Later the girls had fun playing catch and release..
I was just trying to keep it away from them but failing :)

A great little heli..

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance
